Sarah S. Wheeler – Of Counsel
Sarah Wheeler’s primary practice areas include corporate transactions, community association law, real estate law (including foreclosures) and estate planning. Ms. Wheeler advises clients with regard to general corporate matters, including formation of entities, drafting and reviewing of buy-sell agreements, stock purchase agreements and asset purchase agreements. Ms. Wheeler also assists clients with general employment matters, including non-competition agreements. In addition, Ms. Wheeler also focuses her practice in the area of community association law, where she closely works with condominium associations in advising clients with regard to covenant enforcement issues as well as collection matters.
Ms. Wheeler is a frequent author of articles on topics ranging from current employment law issues (including immigration compliance) to corporate matters (including the importance of establishing long-term business plans). Ms. Wheeler is a member of the Georgia Association of Business Brokers.
Prior to joining Moore & Reese, LLC, Ms. Wheeler was an associate with Miles, McGoff & Moore, LLC. Ms. Wheeler was also previously an associate at the law firm of Bach, Dewberry and Hipes in Alpharetta, Georgia, where she focused on estate planning, employment law, civil litigation and business law.
A native of upstate New York, Ms. Wheeler received her Bachelor of Arts degree, summa cum laude, from Russell Sage College in Troy, New York. She earned her law degree from Emory Law School in 2003.
Ms. Wheeler lives in Perry with her husband, Greg, and their daughters.
